MY REPLY: My PHILLIPS family lived in (1) Prince George County, Virginia 1726-1734 and then in North Carolina (from 1730s) and then in South Carolina and Kentucky. They were in the mountains of Clay County and Owsley County, and my father was born in Chestnut Grove, Kentucky, near Frankfort. Where did your family live in Kentucky?
