I am not related. My husband is a surveyor and had to take photos of a gravestone of this person. I will have to ask him for sure on which county he was in when he took this photo, but from what he said it was in the middle of a pasture. He does a lot of work in Ozona, TX so it may have been there...but will ask to be sure. The stone has the following hand written: William Robert Phillips "Billy" 7-10-1866 ------ 10-28-1890 "Shot in the bck while herding sheep with his shepard dog" My scanner is not working but if there is a relation for someone I will go to get it scanned and mail a scanned attachment to you.
