Russell J. Phillips PHILLIPS, Mr. Russell J. - Of Muskegon, age 82, died, February 3, 2002. He was born March 25, 1920, in Genesee Co., to William and Marshia (White) Phillips. He worked as a carpenter. Mr. Phillips served in the US Army in Europe during World War II. He was preceded in death by brothers and 6 sisters. Surviving are: his children, Marsha (David) Bailey and Russell W. (Elizabeth) Phillips, both of Whitehall, and Pamela Bidwell of Twin Lake; his children's mother, Nancy Phillips; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Rose Breener of Flushing; 1 brother, Andy Phillips of National City.
