Thelma Phillips THELMA PHILLIPS, 92, of Houston passed away March 16, 2003. She was born December 30, 1910 in San Augustine, Texas. She was a longtime teacher with HISD having retired from Durkee Elementary School. She was a also a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Survivors include her brothers, Clayton Phillips & wife Dorothy and Bennie Phillips; sister, Myrta Claire Kujawa & husband Eddie and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.
