Florence Elizabeth Phillips b. abt. 1874 St Mary Cray, Bromley, Kent England. Her father's name was William Phillips. Florence had an illegitimate son: Henry William Blanks Phillips b. 1893 also in St Mary Cray. After her marriage to John Charles Newman, Henry William took the name Newman. He died in WW1 1917.
