I'm searching for information on my mother's birth parents and family. She was born Ruby Catherine PHILLIPS Nov. 24, 1911 in Braymer, MO, and immediately put in the Children's Home Society of Missouri for adoption. Earnest and Nella Richardson of St. Louis adopted her in 1913, and she grew up as Nella Jane Richardson. Repeated attempts through the proper channels in Missouri and the Children's Home Society to try to acquire a birth certificate have been consistently unsuccessful.
