He has frequently been confused with Zachariah Phillips of Wilkes County GA, who was the probable brother of Joel Phillips of Wilkes County GA. I have spent a lot of time researching the Phillips of Wilkes County GA. The DNA table is kind of like a window within a window, so you have to use the arrows on the right and bottom of the chart to scroll up and down and back and forth to see the entire chart. As I mentioned before, the DNA results of the descendant of Joel Phillips have not come back from the lab yet, so he does not appear on this chart. My Phillips cousins are shown in Family Group 8.
