My other 4 great grandparents.. His first wife unknown, everyone thinks she was Indian due to the traits the Ward line has. But once again its hearsay. I cant even find where James Ward was buried. he was last know to live in Pasqoutank Co. NC and well I've been all over that city and found nothing. I even had the Librarian do a cemetery lookup for me and found nothing so where did they go. I know my line of Osborn's were from Ireland But I was also told one of my great grandfathers was a full blooded Indian Chief.. but once again no proof. The great grandfather they are speaking of is.. Jesse H. Osborn.. which is Louarkie/Laurca/Laurcha's husband.. His father said to be Phillip H. Jones had an affair with Jesse's mother which was his wife's sister and they had a child whom was Jesse. Now I am told he (Phillip) was Indian because when he died he was buried on the other side of the graveyard from his wife! Mary and the family. People said they was ashamed of Mary for marrying him. because he was dark/red skinned.. also found in the Guilford County Bastardy Bonds is Jesse Harper Osborn "Mulatto" being White mixed with Indian. So could this be where my Indian comes from who knows. I also have another line on my dads side where my dad says his great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee Indian. But I have not been able to find this grandmother. As you can see my family did not keep very good records of each other. The only reason I had this test done is because I have always been curious from what my family tells me... and because when me and my family was in Cherokee on vacation my daughter was having her pic taken with Indian Chief and he ask me if I was Indian.. I ask him why he ask me that .. he says.. my facial features has very distinctive Indian traits through out .. high cheek bones, the way my eyes are shaped and of course I have dark hair and tanned skin. I don't think the test I had done was inaccurate at all.. I just have a problem with my family not keeping good records. A part of my Ward line.. 1.
