Mr. Clifford Ray Phillips Jr., 48, of Fenwick Street, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Bible Deliverance Temple with the Revs. H.K. McKnight and Guy Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Phillips, a native of Augusta, was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family said, ``Mr. Clifford Ray Phillips Jr. was the son of the late C. R. Phillips Sr.'' Survivors include a son, Raymond Paul Phillips, North Augusta; his mother, Betty Phillips, Augusta; and a sister, Linda Phillips Ellison, Opp, Ala. Pallbearers will be Chuck Dixon, Ricky Corley, Bruce Meigs, Brian Cowart, Tommy Ginn, Danny Corley, Doug Beverly and Anthony Buck. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Bible Deliverance Temple.
