I do know that a few years ago there was a dedication service for David. At that time the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) placed a grave marker at David's burial site in St. Clair Co. All of their information was the same as what I have already shared with you. So, I am pretty certain that we are dealing with two men of the same name. I am beginning to think the same as you - these two are very possibly cousins. So far, I have not been in touch with anyone else that is a direct descendent. Hopefully I will come across someone!
