Nancy, now that you've opened this can of worms, do you suppose that my GGF one Bennett S. Phillips, born in KY 1808, is somewhere in one of these households?? He would have been some 12yrs old in 1820. It's possible, Cal, because Bennett Phillips has 2 males age 10 to 16 in his household. However, I vaguely suspect this Bennett Phillips might have descended from Joseph and Mary Phillips of Surry County NC. They had a son named Benet (Bennett) who was born in 1734. This Bennett/Benet Phillips had male descendants who moved on to Williamson Co TN which is adjacent to Rutherford Co TN. The name Richard features prominently in this family. We now have several descendants in the project and their DNA results are shown in Family Group 29. Your DNA does not match the DNA of this Phillips family.
