I am looking for information about Wayman Phillips who married Meg Lillianne Simpson in Cherokee, TN. We have heard throught family members that he last name was really Ledbetter. Also stories told through the generations are that his parents were Cherokee but it is possible that he was born in Cherokee, TN. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
