Hi Quinta: I am trying to find the parents of a Thomas Phillips, born ca 1740/50, who was in Pittsylvania Co. VA in the late 1700s. He married Margaret Buchanan (haven't found her parents either). They had a daughter Susannah, born ca 1770/75, who married Josiah Sparks in 1794 in Pittsylvania Co. VA. Thomas Phillips signed the marriage bond for his daughter in 1794. That's all I know about the Phillips family. I've been on the Phillips list for quite a while and have not found anyone linked to this Thomas. I copied the Union Co. SC Heritage book pages on Phillipses, several years ago. Just reviewed that. It lists the children of the immigrant Gabriel Phillips, and there is no Thomas. (There is a Susannah, but married to a different man.) At any rate, thanks for reminding me of that article. Nancy
