Hello Brenda Evans, I see in the Surry Co. NC pages you were asking for the wife of William Phillips b.5Dec 1740 in Orange Co., VA died 1825 in Surry Co.,NC. Information I have is that his wife's name was Mary Creed. 1825 Nov 8, Surry Co.,Will Book 3;170 names Ch: (children) Abraham, Mathew,Nancy Wm.was Pvt.Comp. 4, NC Reg't Rev. War. They had 7 children. (?) My listing shows 11 Children, perhaps a later listing. That is all I have. Hope this helps. Robert Binzer
