Their were some children taken in by them. I was going under the asumption they were Valentines, but my ggggrandmother was Mary J. Phillips, married to Martin Valentine. They could have been her sibbelings children, which could have made them Phillips children. Do you have any dates? Someone contacted me a while ago, said she had pictures of a Minnie and 2 other women in front of a store in LaPeer. She thought Valentines. In our family their are given names of Alonzo, Asa, Orange(not Orin) Franklin and Parmer..Girls Lucinda, Hellen,Laura, Sarah. My family took in a Louise, called her Aleta. There is also a Chauncy or Chance, and later John, and Nona, also Martin. Are their any of these among your ancestors? Ann
