My Phillips line dates back to Wales and came to the US in about 1636. That person was Matthew Phillips one of the early settlers of Virginia. My line then moved to the Gibson Co. and Humboldt area of TN and possible lived other places in TN before coming to Red River Co. TX between 1850 and 1860. Do any of you have Phillips family members who might match up to these dates and places?
