Phillips, my Great Great Grandfather. He married the new widow Katherine Pulliam Wickware in Cherokee County, Texas on 27 June 1853. After fathering twin sons, he disappeared. In subsequent censuses the sons stated their father was born in Georgia. Katherine went back to her 1st husband's name which leads me to believe he left under shady circumstances.
