    1. Re: DNA posted yet?
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Phillips line in Virginia Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/nNABAIB/7405.1.2.2.2.1.1 Message Board Post: Hello, It should be easy to upload but it's not. The reason is, the DNA results are in an email file which I haven't yet been able to access when I click on the browse key in GEDCOM. I'm still looking for a way. If I could transfer the DNA results into My Documents then it would be easy. Nicholas Phillips first shows up in tithe records in 1768, apparently living with a Christian Phillips. Christian could be a brother, cousin or a son from a previous marriage. Nicholas died in 1786 so he doesn't show up in tithe tables after that year but Christian does, almost yearly up through 1796. I trace my line back to Peter Phillips, b. 1768 the oldest son of Nicholas. Interesting that Peter was born the year that Nicholas and Christian appear on the tithe tables for the first time in Loudoun co.
