They find out information, but then are reticent to share what they have.They seem to think that because of their effort, it is their information. I have been digging pretty hard the last couple of years, and I am delighted to share what I have.I frequently find that someof my relatives may already know something I only recently discovered. I don't understand what there is to be gained by secrecy, and contrarily, I think there's every possibility that our younger kin will become interested in the proud history of their family, and remember their long gone ancestors if I share and remember to them their family. If I were not to share, then all that I gather will be lost (or at least "ungathered!) when I pass on. Best, MIke Moore
