Author: NancyKiser Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.phillips/8156.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hello, I found Lawson and Nancy Phillips on the 1910 census in Montgomery Co GA as follows: Lawson Phillips, 32, head, b GA, father b GA, mother b GA Nancy Phillips, 21, wife, b GA, father b GA, mother b GA Felix Phillips, 3, son, b GA Thomas McKinnon, 8, stepson, b GA The census indicates that Nancy had only given birth to two children by 1910, Thomas and Felix. I think Palix is really just a misspelling of Felix. Here is this same family on the 1920 census in Montgomery Co GA: Martin McKinnon, head, 39, b GA Ida McKinnon, daughter, 17, b GA Joseph McKinnon, son, 13, b GA Martin C McKinnon, father, 83, b GA Phillis McKinnon, mother, 80, b GA Nancy Phillp, sister, 30, b GA Tommie Phillp, nephew, 18, b GA Felix Phillp, nephew 13, b GA Lawson Phillp, brother-in-law, 40, b GA Mollie Phillp, 26, b BA James J Phillp, 6, b GA Grady Phillp, 3, b GA Earline Phillp, 1, b GA Annie May Phillip, granddaughter, 1, b GA So it looks like Nancy's parents were Martin C and Phillis McKinnon. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Nancy Kiser Administrator Phillips Worldwide DNA Project Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
