    1. [PHILLIPS] Jeremiah T. Phillips
    2. Hello fellow Researchers I am looking for the parents of Jermiah T. (TODD) Phillips. Jermiah T. was born April 14 1808 in GA. Where I am not sure. He married Elizabeth Wooley December 23, 1834 in Marengo County, Alabama In 1850 Jeremiah, Nettie, the first 12 children and a handful of slaves joined a wagon trai n heading west. They stopped in Claiborne, County, Mississippi and purchased land. They obvio usly changed their minds and continued westward finally settling in Leon County, Texas. The y completed their westward move in 1852 when the twins, Waymond Joyce and Laura J., were bor n in Texas. Two more children were then added to the family , Benjamin Franklin and Daniel We bster in 1855 and 1860 respectively. Can any one help me find his parents. Thanks Annette Ditto

Surnames: Phillips/Philips, Burch Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/nNABAIB/5355.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi, Linda. Thanks for the query. I am actually stuck on that line. The information that I have only goes back to about the 1880s. My ggrandmother, Laura Belle Phillips, was from Virginia, I think Amherst County and had at least 4 sisters (Lelia, Cora, Fannie and Mary). There might have been another sibling. I spent time over Christmas searching for Laura's obit but did not find it. She died in 1920 within weeks of giving birth to her 7th child. I have her parents as William Phillips and Tollie Burch but no info on them. I believe they lived all of their lives in Amherst but I have found nothing on them as of yet so can't be positive or have any proof of where they were living at any time during their lives. It is a line that I am working on and would love to make some progress on one day. I doubt any of this is helpful to you, but if it is feel free to contact me again and we can compare some more. My email is bootsunc@msn.com Good luck to you in your search.
