Phillips who married Nancy Wiatt Dillard 2/10/1806 in Amherst County. The father of Moses H. was William Phillips who married Mary Watts and the father of William was John Phillips who married Sarah Foster. John and Sarah had 11 children and they moved to KY in about 1794, but William and Mary remained in Amherst County VA in the vicinity of the Buffalo River.
