I do have the Luzerne County 1880 census, but would love to have the 1885, 1910 and 1920 census. James and Mary were married in Nanticoke in 1876. Mary-4/29/1877 and John-12/27/78 were born there. They moved to Streator and then to Indianola, NE. I have a copy of the 1900 census for NE that shows Mary's Mom and Stepfather living with them. Have hit a brick wall trying to find where they came from in Hungary. Talked to many of her grandchildren and it seems that they both spoke Bohemian. James came to America in 1870, but have nothing else. If you need any help researching Hungary, let me know.

We come from the John Bresnay line. How great to find someone else researching the family. Have you found James and Mary in the 1880 census? If not look at Luzerne Co. Nanticoke, Pa page 40 of Ancestry.com Enumeration district 112. If you can't find it, let me know and I will send you the info. Our John and sister Annie were with them at that time. Do you know where James and Mary were married? I have the 1885, 1910, & 1920 Census if you need them. John and James owned property next to each other in Nebraska, although I don't believe John ever lived there. John eventually sold his to James. Have you done any research back to Hungary yet? I am just starting. I think there was another brother George who died in Lakefield, Minn. but I don't have any more info on him.
I am still trying to locate any information on John Henry Phillips born in Philadelphia circa 1880. Married Eliza Elizabeth when she was about 17, also born in 1880 in Philadelphia. (Elisa's maiden name was Murray, her father's name was Joseph and her mother's name was Fanny Bell (Fanny's parents were William and Letitia Bell)).(William, Letitia and Fanny were all born in Ireland). John and Eliza had a daughter (Name? may have been Julia) approx 1897 and a son, Lawrence Joseph, born Aug 12, 1800 in Phil. PA. They had several other children, I believe 7 altogether. Have reason to believe they all perished in scarlet fever epidemic in 1911 when Lawrence was 11 years old, only survivors were Lawrence and his older sister. Cannot locate his older sister either, she was given to a friend of the family to raise when the family perished. If there is anyone out there who knows of a Phillips girl who was raised by another family when she was about 13 years old, (circa 1911) I surely would love to hear from you. I have been unable to locate anything on Lawrence either, not his births record, not in any census, 1900 census was taken in June, he was born in August., Nothing in 1910 census either. 1920 and 1930 found (Lawrence/Laurence) in Massachusetts.
