Hello everyone I would like to know if someone out there could look at a 1891 Census of Northumberland, township of Percy, in Ontaio and see if there is a listing for a Josiah and Agnes PHILLIPS. I have a census for 1881, and would like to know if the family listing is the same in 1891. I tried to e-mail Debbie McNabb and her e-mail bounced back to me.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. I can add to this PHILLIPS tree by way of my gggrandfather John Fredrick PHILLIPS, in case any of the information pertains to any or you...     3. Wilbur E. Phillips Wilbur E. Phillips, 96, of Sun City, AZ, passed away on March 19, 2003. He was born near Canton, Ohio on May 9, 1906 and with his wife, Jean, lived there until moving to Roseville, MN in 1955. They retired to Sun City in 1977. "Bill" was the founder of the Sun Health Laryngectomy Support Group and he was dedicated to helping new laryngectomies learn to speak again. In 1999, he was the recipient of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Ageless Hero award. He was an accomplished painter and loved photography and music. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jean, on December 30, 2002. He leaves behind his sons, Jim (Kathy) of Scottsdale, AZ, Randy of Coon Rapids, MN; a niece, Diane McNalley and her son Dale from Bethoud, CO; 3 Grandchildren, Erin and Elizabeth of MN and Kristen of Scottsdale. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 24, 2003 at Sunland Lakeside Chapel, 15826 Del Webb Blvd. Entombment to follow in Sunland Memorial Park.     3. Russell J. Phillips PHILLIPS, Mr. Russell J. - Of Muskegon, age 82, died, February 3, 2002. He was born March 25, 1920, in Genesee Co., to William and Marshia (White) Phillips. He worked as a carpenter. Mr. Phillips served in the US Army in Europe during World War II. He was preceded in death by brothers and 6 sisters. Surviving are: his children, Marsha (David) Bailey and Russell W. (Elizabeth) Phillips, both of Whitehall, and Pamela Bidwell of Twin Lake; his children's mother, Nancy Phillips; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Rose Breener of Flushing; 1 brother, Andy Phillips of National City. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2003, from 2- 4PM, at Clock Funeral Home in Whitehall, 888-507-8012 Published in the Flint Journal on 2/6/2003.

She was a longtime teacher with HISD having retired from Durkee Elementary School. She was a also a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Survivors include her brothers, Clayton Phillips & wife Dorothy and Bennie Phillips; sister, Myrta Claire Kujawa & husband Eddie and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.     3. Eugene A. "Gene" Phillips Eugene A. "Gene" Phillips, 73, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2002, at his home. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 7, at the Langsford Funeral Home, Lee's Summit, MO. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood, MO. Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Odyssey Healthcare of Kansas City, 9229 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114. Gene was born October 1, 1928 in Holden, MO and lived most of his life in the Lee's Summit, MO area. He was a Jackson Co. Sheriff's Deputy from 1956 to 1990 and retired at the rank of Major. Gene later served three years as officer in charge of the Jackson Co. Drug Task Force. He was an avid bowler, golfer and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He was a good husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Linnie Phillips and two brothers, Joseph and Kenneth Phillips. Survivors include his wife, Nellie L. Phillips of the home; one son, Gary and wife, Linda of Greenwood, MO; two sisters, Alice Wilson of Leawood, KS and Jeanette Head of Lee's Summit, MO; five grandchildren, Reagan L. Hartline and husband, Brett of Blue Springs, MO, Ashley and Tyler Phillips of Ardmore, TN, Sonja and Alexandra Phillips of Greenwood, MO; one great-grandson, Nathan Eugene Hartline of Blue Springs, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Phillips was born Jan. 26, 1912 in Terrell and was formerly of Dallas, Canton and Hide-A-Way Lake. He served in the Navy during WWII and worked for North American Aviation. While living in Dallas he worked for John Hine Pontiac, Pete Ganis Pontiac, & Van Winkle Pontiac. Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by wife Ada Phillips, and a brother Robert Phillips. He is survived by wife Frances Phillips of Tyler, 2 daughters Dolores Bell of Garland & Carol Inkman of San Antonio, son Michael Phillips of Canton, sister Mary Brock of Mabank, 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Nieces & Nephews.     3. Looking for info on poarents of my gr-gr grandfather, Cyrus Boyd PHILLIPS, born in 1843 in Belmont County, Ohio. I believe his parents were Nelson PHILLIPS and Elizabeth BOYD. I find a Nelson and Elizabeth PHILLIPS in the 1850 Census in Goshen Twp, Belmont County, with a number of children, including Cyrus, age 7. However, by 1860, I find Cyrus, age 17, living with a young couple, William and Nancy McNichols, and their young son Stephen, age 2. Does anyone have any info on Nelson? I believe Nelson was also born in Ohio, but his parents may have been born in Virginia? Any help greatly appreciated.
