Could someone please look in the 1930 census for a Joseph Phillips who was married in 1910 to Fannie Cohen (Cohen). They had one daughter, Evelyn born around 1912. Joseph had a middle initial of "M". In 1920 he was in Philadelphia but I've lost him after that. Maybe try locating Fannie Phillips. Thanks, Evelyn
I am looking for Phillips (Joseph, Mary Anne, John, Wilma Jean, James W) from the Pocca/Nitro West Virginia area. Dr. Wm. H. Phillips Irmo, South Carolina

There were five Hunt brothers -- including my GGG grandfather, David Hunt, in NJ. David and his twin George were Wainwrights in Titusville, NJ, and were born Aug 16, 1829. I have photos of them and their brothers. David married Sara Elizabeth Phillips Nov 23, 1859, according to the family bible. She was born May 5, 1839 and died Sept 4, 1920. Her parents were Daniel H. and Jane E. Phillips. Daniel died Nov 3, 1884 and Jane died Mar 9, 1890. I wonder if death notices/obituaries would assist in finding a track to your ancestors. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but having three names in the same tree in NJ makes it likely we're related in some way! Best, Kim

He married MARY HELLYER at St Mary's, Southampton in 1856. Her father was James Hellyer , a stonemason & George's father James Phillips, a labourer. James Hellyer married Mary Oliver in 1832 (as per Hampshire marriage Licences). James was the son of Edward Hellyer, both of St Mary's. Mary was the daughter of Isaac Oliver of Eling. I have also gone back further on these lines, but will be confirming details at Southampton archives office (hopefully!) If anyone has anything further to add, PLEASE do get in touch. I would love to hear from anyone with a connection. May I politely point out that this family is from Southampton ENGLAND, not USA & I have no information or knowledge at this stage of any American connections. Thank you. Debbie Mawdsley
