    3. Can anyone identify the Charles Phillipsand John Phillips in Captain Benjamin Logan's Company near Logan's Stiation abt 1779? Other names lead me to believe that some of these went on to Livingston Co, KY and downward to Caldwell, Trigg, Calloway and Graves Cos. Is this the John bc 1789 husband of Nancy that is in early Hickman Co, KY (parent of several of the above counties)? My greatgrandfather was Jacob Phillips died between 1881 and 1900 census. Wife, Mary Story(bn 1839), was from Graves Co, and there is a Jacob Phillips that according to the 1870 census is dead....and couldn't have married a dead man and had 2 children. Other alternative is that she married a much younger man, Jacob Jr(bn abt 1856). Also, is there a site that I can send my picture of Jake for other Phillips to see? 2. I have a Samuel Phillips who would have been born in that time frame.. He signed the Will of my grandfather Bernard Phillips who was a tailor in Philadelphia. Bernard was the son of Aaron & Elizabeth Phillips & I believe they had a daughter Rebecca... The family came to Philly from England. I will have to dig into my file for more as I haven't been active with geneology the past several years. I know that Aaron & Elizabeth had 7 or 8 children.. Hope this at least offers something to you.. Please keep in touch... Evelyn
