I am searching for my grandfathers niece. I think her name was Catherine Pretzer before she married a Phelan. I only have reference to the name Phelan in a letter my uncle wrote my mother. she died in New York City. Do not know when or where. there are no male heirs that I can find to my grandfathers family. Catherine Pretzer Phelan would have been the daughter of Hanna Johnk and August or Otto Pretzer. she had 4 sisters. Tillie, and cannot remember the other names. I am not sure if they came from Rhode Island but think they might have, Cynthia Blalock
