He married MARY EVANS June 06, 1774 in Friends Church, Uwchland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Notes for MARY EVANS: Secondary source of information from David Phelan 1. The surname EVANS is extremely popular in Chester and Montgomery Counties of Pennsylvania. They were the most popular names and most prominent in social issues e.g. Evansburg, Evans Road, etc. Children of THOMAS PHELAN and MARY EVANS are: i. EVANS M.2 PHELAN10, b. June 13, 1775, Uwchland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Notes for EVANS M. PHELAN: Evans Phelan's signature was witnessed on a deed for property in Richmond County, Georgia.
