Glenda "Genealogical Abstracts from Tennessee Newspapers 1803-1812" complied by Sherida K. Eddlemon, published by Heitage Books, Inc. September 4, 1811, Vol. 3, No. 118 New York, August 7th. Patrick and William PHELAN, two passengers from the ship Belisariou from Dublin, were removed by the British sloop Atlanta. Upon arrival of the Atlanta at Halifax, the following persons were removed to a sloop which sailed for the Isle of St. Johns with orders, that they were to be put on the estate of Lord James Townsend: Richard King, Jane King, James King, Mary King, Jane King (sic), John Gilbert, John Birk, Eliza Birk, Thomas Walsh, Thomas Newnam, Lawrence Current, Thomas Bird, Mary Bird, Valient Needham, Cath. Needham, Eliza Needham, Joseph Gilbert, Ann Gilbert, Ally Burton, Michael Murphy.
