Looking for the phamilies of JOHN & SUSANA (WHITTAKER) PHELAN. Their children: ANN married ANDREW McDERMOTT DENNIS married MARY ANN KIELEY JAMES married BRIDGET TIERNEY MICHAEL married ISABELLA TIERNEY SUSAN married JOHN CONNELLY ELIZABETH married PATRICK DOWNEY JOHN married BRIDGET O'SHEA ELLEN married JAMES STAPLETON The Phelan Phamily came phrom Balyragget in County Kilkenny. They arrived in Canada in 1832 and were among the first 33 settlers of Stratford, Ontario. The phamily left Stratford by 1852 and settled the villages of Chepstow and Holyrood in Ontario. JAMES and MICHAEL have been lost. We know that JAMES went to somewhere in Illinois and MICHAEL went to Oklahoma (maybe). There's plenty more to tell ....
