In the last 2 weeks we've had 4 new Phelan researchers go on line. Now might be the time for everyone to put out a new query! As for me I'm looking for my greatgrandfather's sibling's descendants. His siblings are as follows: #1. Ipsy PHELAN, married John G. Caraker in IL 1844 #2. Rebecca PHELAN b. 1825 married Silas Jones in IL 1841 (later married ? Corzine) Their children were: Jesse b. Jones 1840, James Monroe Jones b. 1842, Sarah Catharine Jones b. 1844 Rachel Caroline Jones b. 1846 #3. Jeremiah T. PHELAN married Mrs. Mary Ledbetter in IL 1842 #4. Dicie B. PHELAN married John Henderson Corzine in 1858 #5. Berryman Shepherd PHELAN - believe this to be the Same as Benjamin S. Phelan who married Jane Cobb in 1842 in Cape Girardeau, MO Berryman lived in Cape Girardeau in 1844, purchased land in Osage Co., MO in 1849, also purchased land in Miller Co, MO in 1856 #6. Giden J. PHELAN - Born in 1823, married to Rebecca J. served in Civil War in E. 18th Inf and residence listed as Clear Creek, IL (believe that is in either Union Co or Alexander Co) Children: Sarah H. 1844 Harriet E (or N) 1845 James M. 1848 #7. Francis M. Phelan - lived in Oregan in 1844 Glenda (listmanager)
