Chris, I am a Whalen,County Waterford, Ireland, so g.grand father Martin Whalen said, I subscribed to your site because of a phase that came down from a neighbor of Martin and Ellen's. They offered her a ride in their wagon and as she got in she said"Are you the O'Phelan's?" and as g grandma Ellen said " and she put her leg in me clock" I have the clock with the broken glass but can't find where in County Waterford they were born, I got record from churches but nothing matches up. I am going for ideas, I have just about given up.
