Glenda NEW YORK CIVIL WAR RECORDS (1861-65) This database gives records of Civil War infantrymen from southeastern New York (79th and 80th infantry units). It lists each person's name, age, date, and place of enlistment, and outcome of service. There is also a "Comments" section that lists the final entry on the serviceman's record. Some of the men in the database were from Pennsylvania; they temporarily served with the 79th infantry from January to April 1864, and are therefore included with the infantry unit's records.
