It Seems my branch of Phelans arrived in Montreal around 1840? and opened a Bakery there - T.P. Phelan Bakery... My Great Grandfather Thomas Phelan knew better than stay with a thriving business ( that went on to be a very large food supplier to this day). He moved to Kingston Ontario Canada to become a "cigar-maker" Thus we are not the rich & Famous Phelans His Parents were :William Phelan 1811-1868 b:Maryborough Co.
