Does anyone on list recognize the e-mail address of [email protected] It appears that their server is unknown and their subscribe message is being sent back to me as undeliverable. I've tried to contact them directly but my message also returned. Either they typed their address in wrong when they tried to subscribe or we have another problem that being a new list owner I don't understand, so if anyone recognizes this person, will you please send me their correct address or advise them directly to let me know and I'll try to find out problem. You guys notice that I'm typing better!! I can wiggle my left hand enough to type with both hands - whew, thank goodness. Isn't Cortisone a miracle drug or what? Thanks, Glenda Thanks

Hi everyone: I just want to know how many Jeremiah Phelan's are there? I'm still looking for mine (b. 1857, Memphis?). Can this really be that common of a name? I never would have thought there'd be so many : D Frankie
Glenda & Dawn You are referring not to the Jeremiah born in 1777 but to Jeremiah S. (18 Dec. 1832-1862) Married 18 October 1855 to Mary J. Ryan "Jeremiah S. was shot in General Hindman's Confederate camp on Flat Rock Creek near Van Buren." Information from History of Washington County, AK - Shiloh Museum 1989 info furnished by Ardys Moore Crapo Mary
I apoligize for sending personal message to Chris to the list by error. I just changed instructions for it to automatically do that - you'd think I would remember. But I'm going to blame it on being sick. If I do it again, I'll shoot myself - ha. Please don't complain to the listowner, cause I'm it!!!!!!!!!!!! Glenda

Swollen hands this am - couldn't move left hand or fingers - right almost as bad but i can peck away with it - just no caps. went to emergency room, they think it's my heart meds. gotta go see heart dr tomorrow. put me on cortisone, feel great now, just still can't move hands real good. gosh, its hell getting old!!!!!! we're at 26 subscribers now. i went in on rootsweb and sent all those shown researching phelan - except names i recognized -an email message announcing new list. i struggled through them to use caps and all, but i figured i could let my hair down with you and you wouldn't think i was stupid and didn't know how to type!!! anything else you can think of that i could do? If we ever connect to this Evans line, i bet we're going to turn out to be cousins, don't you? there is just too much of our line being in the same area at the same time frame, don't you think? or am i just doing wishful thinking? well, gotta go, my finger is getting tired - ha.
