I had sent a reply to Bill about his concerns with sending money to an unknown publisher for the recently discussed book, but thought this information would be helpful for others with his concerns. I am also a publisher of genealogy books--use a P.O. Box for numerous reasons--and do not accept credit cards (at this time) only checks (may sound backwards but I've never been burned). Secondly, you can verify a publisher and/or book by the ISBN number located on the copyright page. Also, the Library of Congress has an online site where you can search for a book and verify the information that you have. If in doubt, go to a bookstore and order the book by giving the ISBN number. However, you will miss out on the prepublication price this way. Hope this helps. Barbara
