Hello List, I am wondering if someone on this list could point me in the correct direction.. I know that my relative MELKUS was living in Germany, Otterberg near Kaiserslautern from 1800-1870 or so... I do not know what year he emigrated into Germany from another European (I assume ) country... Would the Germans have a list of such people... ? What would the name of this record book be called ? ( It is possible he came as a member of an army...) Thanks for any ideas you have and will share with me... Margaret in Maryland
