I am in the process of composing a follow-up letter to a German Church Archive. They recently sent me an extract of my 2nd great-grandfathers baptism record from their churchbooks. Please could someone help me compose a brief request, in German, for the archives to check their Birth/Christening registers for records of possible siblings of my 2nd-great grandfather and/or possible children born to my 3rd great-grandmother? My 2nd great-grandfather was born illegitimate, therefore I cannot ask the archives to check for a marriage record since I don't know my ancestors father's name. Regards, Nancy M.
