I am going to Gimbsheim, Germany this summer to research the Johann Michael Kimmel family. I would like to hear from anyone who has been to this area and can give me any special travel advice or other pertinent information. Also, I have been trying to research my husband's family--descendfants of John Thomas Orndorff. I'm really having a difficult time finding out information.
