Good Morning, Is anyone researching the name BILDHEIMER? The information I have is: Apollonia Bildheimer, born abt Mar 1797, Grevenhausen, Rhineland Pfalz was a d/o Johannes Bildheimer [lived and died Grevenhausen] and Anna Maria Sabbathne [born Grevenhausen; died Lambrecht.] Apollonia BILDHEIMER m. Heinrich WEBER [c1800 Lambrecht; d. bef 1852 Lambrecht. Their son Friedrich W. Weber is my husband's great-grandfather. The facts presented above are based solely on the following information: 1. Letter dated 22 February, 1995, from Rosemarie Regenauer, Evangelische Kirche Der Pfalz (Protestantische Landeskirche), Landeskirchenrat, wherein she stated ".........In confirmation register of 4 April 1852 (Palm Sunday) record of the pastor, that the father of Friedrich W. Weber, Heinrich Weber, is deceased. The mother is of the Catholic religion (Apollonia Bildheimer). Perhaps this one hint might help you. With friendly best regards, s/Rosemarie Regenauer." I have done numerous searches and have been unable to locate anyone with the surname BILDHEIMER living in Germany today. Also, searches conducted on various U.S. search engines [Rootsweb, etc.] have found no individual with the surname BILDHEIMER. A research trip to Lambrecht, and surrounding areas of Germany, also resulted in blank pages on the BILDHEIMER line. This is the Lambrecht located near Kaiserslautern.
