Dear Listers, I have received many emails from helpful folks and I want to thank you. Perhaps someday I will be able to locate the villages of the SEBASTIANS and the SCHEIDTS. If so, I want to go there personally. Some of you suggested ways I might go about the search and some just remarked about bad heredity which caused me to stumble around in darkness for so long. Heredity is certainly a factor. I am still open to suggestions, such as, "They were definitely born in Himmelfarb village, three miles SW of Munich," or whatever. Thank you, Tom the bewildered
