If you go there, be sure to go the correct month. Everything was closed when I was there. (August) The signs say, open from---to---- but we tried all day to get in several places, but the buildings were locked up tight. And don't look for "old" tombstones in the cemetery. Hopefully you've already heard that the burial plots are lease for various number of years. If you don't pay at the end of the lease, someone else will have the spot. August is vacation month for Germany and Switzerland. I don' t know about other countries. The school system is different than ours and as I understood it when explained to me, that is the best time for family vacations. We have found a great time to go is in the spring before the tourist season starts or fall after the tourist season. If there is some touristy type of activity you want to participate in you might check before making your plans. Celia
