    3. Yvonne and Rob, The name Otremba does appear in the LDS IGI and the LDS Ancestral File. There are 4 listed in the IGI from Germany and all are from Schwarzenau, Westpreussen and were born/baptised from 1813 to 1824. Of the two in the LDS Ancestral File, one (whose birthplace is identified as "Mn") of their spouses was born in "Chonic, Porrussia". ShtetlSeeker does show a GERTHAUSEN and a GRIETHAUSEN in Germany today that are also somewhat phonetically similar.
