Hi all, I`m new to this list and I´m searching for Elisabetha VELSCHEN who, according to FamilySearch, in 1642 married Philips Jacob GENSSLINGER in Landau / Pfalz evangelical. Has anybody come across her or across the name Velschen? Up to now I thought that about 1720-1730 in Salzbergen (now Niedersachsen) the name changed from Velt to Veltschen and Velschen (and later Felschen). Does anybody know how to get more genealogical information on Landau? Thanks, Otto
