My husband was born in Hoppstaedten-Weiersbach, Rheinland-Phalz, Germany. His father was stationed there with the Army. We have his birth record from the state dept. Apparently, a child born on foreign soil is given 2 birth certificates - one US and one from the country where the birth occurred. We would like to obtain a copy of his German birth certificate, but have no idea how to accomplish this. Any help would be appreciated. Lori Browning
