Regarding the German church records - I ordered several spools from the LDS library, and then found I couldn't read them. The script and handwriting legibility of the early records was baffling. Also, for some reason the LDS people were unable to send me the correct film. It took several tries before I got one out of three spools I was looking for, and after I saw how difficult the one was to read, I canceled the other orders. Tom

Hi I live in Norway abd was trying to rent the films for Callbach, Pfalz last year. But they didn't allow the films to be rented to Norway. So I guess that may be the same for New Zealand. It's not easy for us who have a long distance to go to try to find our German ancestors. Maybe I will have the time when I become a retirement penisoner about 20 years from now :)).
