Debbie, I have ancestors from the Rhein-Pfalz going all the way back to 1710, perhaps earlier. Among many other surnames & locations in the Rhein-Pfalz I have WEINMANN from Albsheim (adjoining Gauersheim) and URBAN et al from Ungstein (near Bad Durkheim). I also have ancestors in Sausenheim, further to the South, near Grunstadt. These locations are in very close proximity to your ancestors location in Gauersheim. Would you please be so kind as to elaborate on the following: " ... I was able to purchase 3 Familienbuch of 3 adjoining towns in the Pfalz area, that were resently transcribed." I would be interested to know if such Familienbuchs for my URBAN et al families are available for my purchase. Could you please name the individual resources (books) that you purchased and the details (source & price). I wonder if any of our ancestral lines are connected? Thank you, Bette ----- Original Message ----- From: "Debbie Hoffman" <mdhof@pymtele.net> To: <pfalz@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 13, 2006 8:36 AM Subject: Re: [Pfalz] 1750 year location of Gauersheim, Kreis Donnersberg > Dear Bob, > Then a researcher has viewed the IGI film from Gauersheim and found the > birth and marriage records of this family in the 1750 period with it > stating > Evangelisch Pfalz, Bayern.
