Are you research Ohmers? I have seen a variation of that name before as Omer. I have seen a few records in the IGI via the LDS site. Joel, The records from Speyer can be found at www.familysearch.org. I have found most of my Family in these records. Then I went to Speyer and confirmed all that I read. Most of the Churches have kept their records and allowed them to be put on film. The land archives in Speyer are not on line but are a wonderful source too. A number of my lines I have also found in the Speyer listings on familysearch.org. Many of them lived in the nearby villages of Otterstadt, Waldsee, Berghausen and Heiligenstein. I have had some troubles with a couple of marriages for I cannot seem to find them in neither Otterstadt or Speyer. Both individuals were from Otterstadt.
