On the Immigration list I received from Baumholder for my GG Wilhelm Pees there was a date 1/14/1848 . Does anyone one know what this date was and was there a time limit from this date that they had to leave ? There are some other names on this listing Grimm , Rousch and my GG grandmother was listed with her maiden name Mettger . I think most of these people left Germany at the same time and settled in Port Washington Ohio . I am trying to find when and where the landed here . Sonny
