Hi Marge, I am still plugging away on my Klingenmünster records. I have zillions of them to look at. Sometimes I take a break and work on something else. Now I am looking at the Catholic records for the Menges and Leibrecht families, along with others that tag along for the ride. As you say, working on more than one thing at a time is confusing, but I get bored with just one strand of research. I got "Clever Maids" at the library. You could try interlibrary loan or abebooks.com or amazon. It was just published a couple of years ago I think. I remembered hearing an interview with the author on the radio or somewhere, and I decided to finally look it up. I'm about half way through now, and I am enjoying it a lot. It has put those old fairy tales into a new context for me, a much more interesting one. Where is Belum? Just a quickie. Belum is in the very northern part of Germany. In fact east of Cuxhaven and on the North Sea. We were there several years ago and it is very interesting. But - of course- so far their records have not been copied. But they couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Also famous for the horses they raise. Race horses. Beautiful. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mary Beth Michaels" <50below@pobox.mtaonline.net> To: <pfalz@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, December 02, 2006 6:41 PM Subject: Re: [Pfalz] fun book I am reading Hi Marge, I am still plugging away on my Klingenmünster records.
